Dr. Grotz’s application is 'Phase Ib Trial of Intraperitoneal Interleukin-2 and Systemic PD-1 Inhibition in Patients with Gastric Cancer and Peritoneal Metastatis.' Dr. Grotz is an assistant professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science."
Dr. Grotz said about his latest research: "For too long peritoneal metastasis has been without much focus, and I feel compelled by my patients to optimize this opportunity with the Rosenkranz Career Development Award to advance our knowledge of this deadly condition and to improve outcomes for patients. It is my patients who serve as my greatest inspiration, and I am indebted to them for their trust."
